Permission Usage:

• Camera & OCR: The app uses your device's Camera to scan medication labels. We use on-device Optical Character Recognition (OCR) via Google ML Kit to extract text. No images are stored or transmitted; the camera feed is processed in real-time and discarded immediately.
• Notifications: The POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission is essential for displaying medication reminders and quick actions (Taken/Skip/Snooze) on your lock screen.
• Exact Alarms: The app uses SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM to ensure your medication reminders trigger at the precise time specified.

2. Data Privacy & Local-First Approach

We prioritize your privacy by keeping your data where it belongs: on your device.

• No Server Transmission: Your personal health information, medication lists, and schedules are never transmitted to our servers.
• No Marketing: We never sell your health data or share it with third-party advertisers or data brokers.
• User Profiles: If you create profiles for family members, all names and associated icons are stored locally.

3. User Control & Security

You have full authority over your health data:

• You can edit or permanently delete any medication entry or user profile at any time.
• Revoking notification or camera permissions will only disable those specific features; your data remains secure on your device.
• We recommend using device-level security (PIN/Fingerprint) to further protect the local data stored by this app.
