Comprehensive Setup Guide
Follow these detailed steps to ensure full administrative control.
Command Center Activation
Install ChildSafe on your primary (Parent) device. Sign up for a new account and verify your email.
- On the User Type screen, select Parent.
- Complete your profile setup, including your name and optional profile picture.
The "Secret Scanner" Mode
Start with a new or factory-reset child device. This is essential for granting "Device Owner" status.
- On the first "Welcome" screen, tap six times in the same spot (outside of buttons).
- A hidden QR code scanner will launch. Ensure the device has a stable internet connection.
Secure Provisioning
Open your Parent Dashboard and tap the + button to reveal your unique enrollment QR code.
- Scan the QR code with the child's device. Follow the prompts to connect to Wi-Fi.
- The system will automatically download and provision the management profile.
Identity & Enrollment
Launch ChildSafe on the child's device and sign in with your parent account credentials.
- Select Kid as the user type and enter the child's name.
- Complete the on-screen permission prompts to finalize the link to your dashboard.
